Our finance team is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst based in San Bernadino, CA (or remote) to be the lead in providing financial support and guidance to our Distribution and Transportation team within the Operations organization. This will entail assisting with the division’s financial monthly forecast, annual budgeting process, variance analysis and special projects. You will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing presentations, capital expenditure analysis, evaluating new business opportunities, and other projects requested by senior management. About the Job:

• Provide analytical support for Distribution & Transportation organization at a functional and global level by collaborating with Operations leadership

• Lead the forecasting, annual budget, and strategic plan processes in support of the Distribution & Transportation function

• Collaborate with global Operations leadership team on expense management (budget and expense tracking, accruals/reclasses, forecasts and reporting)

• Own the monthly close process and ensure the accuracy of month-end reporting

• Identify and drive process improvements to streamline and automate processes and improve reporting

• Partner with Supply Chain teams to understand and track key performance indicators and drive productivity actions

• Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives

• Highlight and determine root cause of unexpected variances.

• Prepare financial reporting and management presentations in support of monthly business reviews, corporate and board reporting

What you Need:

• 3-5 years of related experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

• Strong computer and system skills; Hyperion financial system and SAP experience is strongly preferred

• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills

• Proven analytical ability

• Experience as a business partner to management with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to influence key decision makers

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work within a matrix environment

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Strong business acumen

• Financial modeling experience

• Working knowledge of GAAP
