We are looking for a Finance Intern for a 6 to 12-month period to provide end-to-end support across multiple financial functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial operations, audits, and due diligence. In this role, you will help ensure our financial processes run smoothly and support the organization’s overall financial well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
– Supporting accounts payable activities such as invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate payments.
– Managing accounts receivable tasks including billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations to improve cash flow and reduce overdue balances.
– Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue.
– Participating in financial audits by preparing and sharing required documentation, coordinating with auditors, and responding to audit findings or recommendations.
– Assisting with financial and tax due diligence when needed.
– Providing additional ad hoc financial support and analysis to help with strategic initiatives and decision-making.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA candidates are preferred.
– 1–6+ months of experience in finance or accounting roles, especially in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial operations.
– Proficiency with Zoho Books/QuickBooks and Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, and Presentations).
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
– Experience with financial audits and due diligence is a plus, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments and confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
