General Summary
Working under general supervision, the Finance High School Intern provides administrative assistance to the accounting team.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
•Help maintain financial records, including entering data and assembling reports.*
•Support the processing of Purchase Orders, Check Requisitions, Employee Requests, Sales Reports, and other documents.*
•May assist with employee reimbursements, payment processing, and accounting project tasks.*
•Handle administrative tasks such as faxing, copying, filing, and booking meeting rooms and equipment.*
•Follow the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and all applicable domestic and international quality regulations, standards, and procedures.*
•Understand and comply with relevant security, privacy, and compliance requirements.*
•Ensure department staff adhere to the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.*
•Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Minimum education and experience
•Currently enrolled in high school with at least one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
•Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
•High accuracy and strong attention to detail
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and standard office software
•Ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects
Working Conditions
•Standard office setting
•Ability and willingness to work on-site
•Occasional lifting and moving of up to 5 pounds
•Ability to move between buildings and floors
•Ability to remain seated and use a computer or other office equipment for extended periods
•Ability to read, write emails, and prepare documents and spreadsheets
•Ability to move around the office and access supplies or file cabinets as necessary
•Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels daily
Base Pay Range Per Hour: $21.00 – $26.00
Actual compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
