About the role:
We are looking for a full-time Field Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our high-growth startup. This role supports the Operations Manager with daily market operations and ensures that every patient receives an exceptional experience.
The Field Phlebotomy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing patient operations across assigned territories, ensuring each Getlabs visit exceeds expectations. You will also help train and maintain quality standards for our team of hourly phlebotomists. We are looking for resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, communicative, friendly self-starters.
You must live on the West Coast in the PST or MST time zone to be considered.
At Getlabs, you will:
• Supervise mobile phlebotomists across one or more geographic markets
• Monitor performance and review appointments for compliance, quality, and safety, documenting all findings
• Administer disciplinary actions when necessary
• Interview and hire new mobile phlebotomists
• Onboard new team members efficiently
• Conduct new-hire and annual competency evaluations
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for orders and patient appointments
• Manage performance reviews and address employee concerns
• Review and adjust team schedules as needed and coordinate work assignments
• Plan and oversee a budget
• Support customer service and handle escalations, interacting with patients via phone, email, and other channels
• Review and approve timecards and expense reports
What we’re looking for:
• At least 2 years of leadership experience
• Phlebotomy certification from AMT, ASCP, or NCCT; strong knowledge of phlebotomy practices is a plus
• A strong history of delivering excellent customer service
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; familiarity with Google Suite is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Proficiency with Google applications and openness to new technology
• Ability to navigate ambiguity when systems and processes are not fully defined
