Domino seeks a hands-on systems engineer to help our enterprise customers install and upgrade our on-premises software. Applicants must have experience with at least a few of these technologies: Docker, Ubuntu, AWS, SaltStack, and Terraform. Experience with Hadoop, Spark, R, Python, are strongly desired.
Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. We also seek candidates with a strong bent towards customer service. The most essential soft skill we’re looking for is the art of persuasion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage installing/upgrading Domino
- Manual and automated testing of an installation
- Translate customer requirements into technical requirements
- Define, document, and conduct Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Basic product demos
- Relay customer feedback to Domino product team and management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a science or technology, preferably Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years experience in a customer-facing technical role
- Demonstrated project management skills or certification
