About the role:
We are seeking a motivated Program Manager with a strong sense of ownership to lead and oversee all aspects of implementation and delivery for our Federal and military customers. You will join Skydio’s Federal and Global Government Mission Success team as a program manager, directly responsible for customer outcomes, including onboarding, project planning, technical execution, risk management, and delivering Skydio’s leading autonomous solutions. Internally, you will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Sales to develop plans, solve problems, and communicate risks and progress for strategic accounts. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical link between our customers and Skydio’s highly agile, world-class technical teams.

How you’ll make an impact:
– Work collaboratively as a requirements-driven planner with deep ownership, accountability, and the willingness to dive into details.
– Understand customer requirements and translate them into execution plans for Skydio’s agile technical teams to drive development and delivery.
– Build strong relationships with Federal and Global Government customers, with sufficient technical knowledge to develop and lead plans with Operations and Program Management, including certifications, localization, regulatory compliance, logistics, and more.
– Keep Skydio and customer business and program leaders informed about opportunities and risks, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive service delivery across the program.
– Maintain strong knowledge of UAS technology, drone data processing and analysis, and proactively anticipate customer needs.
– Create and manage a scalable customer onboarding and QBR process to support customer success, upsell, and renewal efforts.
– Provide general support for go-to-market and business activities as needed.

What makes you a good fit:
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on project management tools and principles.
– Demonstrated experience implementing new technology, supporting agile development, and coordinating with technical teams to meet customer timelines.
– Proven experience managing technical services contracts and/or projects for or within large enterprises supporting Federal and military customers.
– Experience with commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems and related software development and deployment.
– Experience working directly with Federal and military customers; a background in military or Federal law enforcement is strongly preferred.
– Ability to partner with customers and sales to drive renewals and expansion.
– Willingness to travel 40% of the time.

Compensation Range:
The annual base salary range for this position is $110,500–$139,500*. Pay varies based on factors such as skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees can enroll in benefit plans and access a variety of incentives and stipends.
