About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Backend/Data Engineer with strong experience in data integration and Airbyte to join a high-impact team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable and reliable data pipelines to support business-critical workflows.

Your expertise will help us seamlessly ingest and process data from a variety of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Airbyte (self-hosted or Cloud).
• Build reliable and scalable ETL processes and data workflows.
• Work closely with engineering and data teams to integrate data from systems such as Salesforce, Jira, and Notion.
• Implement and maintain access control models (ACL, RBAC) to ensure data security.
• Design APIs and support microservices-based architecture for data integration.
• Optimize SQL queries and support backend services written in Nodejs.

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in Nodejs and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Airbyte, building and maintaining connectors.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data normalization, and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and scalable backend systems.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems like Salesforce, Jira, Notion, etc.
• Knowledge of access control models such as ACL or RBAC.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other data integration tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, or Apache Airflow).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Background in data governance or real-time data streaming solutions.
