Diamond Foundry Inc. is addressing the thermal challenges at the core of today’s most innovative industries—AI and cloud computing, electric vehicle power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have created the world’s first single‑crystal diamond wafers and are committed to placing diamond technology behind every chip. As a fast‑growing and profitable unicorn, we have raised $515 million and are carrying out a multi‑billion‑dollar expansion to produce one of the most sustainable forms of tech manufacturing: transforming greenhouse gases into diamond wafers using zero‑emission energy.

We are looking for a Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical infrastructure and critical utilities of our Single Crystal Diamond (SCD) Ingot Fab. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our power systems—from 132kV substations and BESS/PV integration to the low‑voltage networks that support ultra‑high‑purity gas and process‑cooling systems. You will act as a key technical expert, connecting facilities, process engineering teams, and external contractors to maintain uninterrupted power for diamond production. By managing complex electrical installations and improving system performance, you will protect our advanced manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with semiconductor industry standards.

Responsibilities
• Plan, manage, and execute electrical facility projects, including factory expansions, equipment installations, and upgrades to critical utilities. Oversee both high‑ and low‑voltage infrastructure to ensure peak Fab performance.
• Manage contractors and vendors through bidding, contract negotiations, scope definition, performance monitoring, and ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality work. Ensure compliance with Fab safety rules, EU directives, and environmental standards.
• Work with tool‑installation teams to support manufacturing equipment setup and ensure facilities are prepared.
• Use AutoCAD or similar tools to design facility layouts, piping diagrams, and electrical schematics for facility changes.
• Use ETAP to model and simulate electrical power systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash studies, and technical reporting.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Facilities Engineering, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in electrical project engineering within high‑tech manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of high‑ and low‑voltage power distribution systems.
• Experience with construction, facility expansions, and system modifications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and vendors, including negotiation, scheduling, compliance, and performance oversight.
• Solid knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Salary range: €35,000 – €50,000 per year
Actual compensation may vary based on job responsibilities, experience, and expertise.
