doctorSIM is seeking an experienced hands-on php/mysql programmer with strong experience in developing web applications (front end, back end) tightly integrated with JS.

Proficient in Spanish/English.

Experience with PHP, MySQL in a consumer facing production environment. Experience in XHTML, Javascript, CSS and general Web 2.0 techniques Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL) Ability to manage fast changing priorities and resources to meet business requirements

Hard Qualifications (Please do not apply if you do not meet ALL these qualifications):

BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent). A minimum of 3 years professional development experience using PHP, HTML/CSS, and Javascript Demonstrable experience implementing and deploying code in AWS and CentOS environments Able to proactively identify measures to continually improve the product Work efficiently as part of a small team returning big results Must be fluent in various Unix/Linux OSs required for php development and deployment

Besides coding, (and the ocasional beers with the team), at times you will be required to organize and supervise team members’ work. You will be involved in migrating legacy code to new robust, scalable code, as well as migrating code on legacy hardware to AWS infraestructure.
