We are looking for an open, team oriented software engineer to enhance an experienced team of software developers and software architects in an exciting and fast changing environment.

HERE is working closely with big players in the automotive space, mobile handset, web and wearables. We offer a range of interesting consumer, data and service products which are in use by millions of people every day.

The AppliedTechnologies Team within the Chief Technology Office facilitates migration from research to products. We assess new technologies and their potential, work on proof of concepts, early product development together with our business units, and in some cases take responsibility of the product from end to end. We define and uphold best-in-class SW development practices for the company, and support the teams adapting those. Therefore we work in very diverse environments:from backend to client systems, including embedded ones. We usemodern development tools, such as git/Gerrit,as well as techniques like test driven development. We use many different languages like Java, C++, Scala, Go, but for us the programming language is just a tool, we can work with any.
