We’re looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our scrum team of multiple developers, QA and DevOps Engineers. This is a remote position for US/Canadian candidates. Our platform features a responsive front-end built with Ember.js, and a well-designed Rails API that combines semantic databases, natural language processing, machine learning and search.

You will be doing some or all of the following:

• Developing scalable, highly-performant, customer-facing we applications with Ruby on Rails.

• Building RESTful APIs.

• Improving system performance and reliability.

• Writing clean, efficient and maintainable code.

• Helping us scale our rapidly growing web application.

Ideally, you’d be local to our beautiful Upper Valley located on the border between Vermont and New Hampshire where we’d welcome you to our fancy new offices. We have a ping pong table, and are really excited about the craft brewery that just opened up the street. If you’re not within a daily commute (we’re about 100 miles northwest ofBoston), we’ll entertain applicants who wish to work remotely. We’d ask you to travel to our offices (at our expense) once a quarter so we can get everyone face-to-face for some bonding and planning.
