Age Partnership’s web development team are looking for an experienced PHP developer to join our happy and talented band of geeks. You will be primarily responsible for maintaining and developing our bespoke PHP web platform with additional responsibility for managing, maintaining and improving our web infrastructure (Linux on Azure). A working knowledge of HTML & CSS is expected, and you will also be working with Python and JavaScript on occasion.

Location: Leeds LS15 & Hebden Bridge

You must have experience of developing web software in a commercial environment and be able to work, contribute and sometimes lead as part of a web development team. You should have a rational, scientific approach to problem solving – if you are not comfortable solving a problem with access to a pile of well-thumbed manuals and StackOverflow, then this role may not be for you!

Based across two sites in the beautiful, if occasionally damp, West Yorkshire, you will have the opportunity to work in both our bustling head office (Leeds) and our more sedate web-team-only office (Hebden Bridge), giving you the best of both worlds when it comes to your working environment.
