MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Welocalize is currently looking for linguists to join our pool of trusted medical partners for our Welocalize Life Science business unit for the en_US to hu_HU language pair.

The client which we are recruiting for is a leading medical device company. We need a MTPE linguist to assess the language quality on an ongoing basis.

MAIN DUTIES

• Translate Life Science content from English into Hungarian with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.
• Minimum three years’ experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals:
• Native fluency in Hungarian
• Additional Job Description
• Tool: XTM, Trados
• Capacity per week: 5000+
• Start date: ASAP

Requirements

• Native speaker of target language and fluent in English
• Degree in linguistics, medical and/or equivalent subject
• Minimum 3 years experience in translation and/or editing of medical documents – clinical patient and investigator-facing material in the life sciences field
• Good communication skill, happy to jump on the call with customer
• Proficient use of CAT tools (XTM, Trados)
