The role entails projects such as taking a legacy app written in Python and creating a nice beautiful app with added functionality that’s written in Go. Other projects include creating APIs that facilitate their eCommerce affiliate platform and cart check-out system. This is a permanent position and average time to hire from initial contact with candidate is 2 weeks. Developer must write high-quality code that is robust and easy to maintain with tests. There are two interviews and done, there will be no whiteboarding. Client is willing to train qualified candidates with as little as a year of Go experience.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years professional software development experience.
• Management/Lead experience.
• Minimum 1 year Go experience.
• **Candidate must be located in and authorized to work in the US.** Please do not apply if you do not meet this hard requirement! Sorry, no C2C.

Preferred qualifications – experience with:

• AWS (ECS, RDS, Lambda, etc)
• Able to read Python
• 3rd party APIs (REST)
• Working in a containerized environment (Docker or Kubernetes)
