Job Purpose
- Develop and enhance our flagship Video, Audio, Automotive and Sports metadata software solutions.
- Design applications with a Platform-first approach where scale, consistency and reliability are at the core of every decision.
- As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using various technologies.
- You will be contributing to solutions which acquire, enrich and deliver world’s richest content metadata to customers across the globe using technology first approach
Key Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, and maintain scalable and robust applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Own the core SDLC phases of implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance to deliver high-quality software that meets business objectives. While proficiency in requirements gathering and design is advantageous.
- Able to troubleshoot and debug applications using established methodologies (e.g., log analysis, profiling, code inspection) to pinpoint performance bottlenecks, resolve functional defects, and ensure application stability and optimal resource utilization.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Thrives on continuous learning, demonstrates a keen interest in emerging technologies, and proactively seeks opportunities to expand skillset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Software Development. Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a passion for problem-solving and innovation.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, GoLang, Python, C++, SCALA.
- Knowledge of Data Science is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and adaptability skills
