Piton Labs is hiring a full-time Senior Software Engineer. We’re looking for someone who can build full-stack products and has stronger backend capabilities. Ideal candidates will also have solid experience with cloud infrastructure. Startup experience—whether founded a company or worked at an early-stage startup—is a plus. We strongly prefer candidates in the GMT‑8 (US West Coast) to GMT‑3 time zone range, but we may consider other locations depending on the situation.

**Responsibilities & Tech**

At Piton Labs, you’ll work with both startups and large organizations to solve their most challenging technical problems. You’ll need to handle the natural ambiguity and complexity that comes with software development—helping customers not only build products, but also clarify what they should build. This isn’t just picking tasks off a backlog; you’ll also help set priorities and focus on solving the highest-value problems for our customers.

We’re open to different technology stacks, but most projects use TypeScript, React, and Go. We typically rely on AWS for cloud infrastructure, though some clients use other providers. You should have at least five years of experience with core web application stacks, relational databases, and modern frontend technologies. Familiarity with our tools is helpful but not required. You should be able to deliver reliable, well-tested code consistently.

A typical week may include:
– Building advanced UI for web or mobile applications
– Designing and developing a serverless API layer for new web products
– Designing and deploying cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools
– Presenting new features to customer stakeholders

**About You**

You’re self-driven, enjoy writing code, love solving problems, and continually improving your technical skills. Key strengths include:
