Our 55 engineers team – across Customer Experience, Internal Experience and Data – will be growing significantly over the next months. This role will be sitting in the Cookbook team who’s excited to welcome their 3rd engineer.The team is building an internal platform to support the customer communications department at Marley Spoon; The platform is built from scratch replacing the old Spree e-commerce tool. We want Cookbook to be a secure, reliable and easy to use tool for our CC agents so we ultimately enable a flawless customer experience.

Your role is instrumental in supporting global spanning and getting Marley Spoon equipped for the current massive growth and the potential ahead.

Your role

• Write testable and readable code, that runs fast and reliably to get Cookbook ready for release

• Continue adding new features once V1 is released

• Shape the future of our Cookbook application and further build APIs dependencies (first stop: ERP integration)

• Work closely with the other teams and your teammates to arrive at the best possible feature implementation

• Be a customer yourself so you’re a direct user of what you’re building. You’ll receive the product for free of course 😉

Requirements

• Several years of experience

• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails & ReactJS

• TypeScript and Cypress (nice to have)

• Strong testing mindset

• Excellent communication skills

• A drive to learn and improve yourself and others around you
