About the Team

Bazaarvoice is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Business Applications team in Bengaluru. This role is dedicated to supporting the global organization by ensuring the reliability and quality of our core business systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workato. The candidate will focus heavily on the execution and coordination of the testing
lifecycle. You will bridge the gap between development and operations by ensuring smooth, functional workflows across marketing, sales, finance, support and services processes. This role requires a meticulous professional who excels at documenting test requirements, conducting manual functional testing, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across cross-functional teams.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Test Case Development: Design and maintain detailed manual test cases and scripts for Salesforce, NetSuite, and integration workflows.
  • Requirements Mapping: Work closely with business analyst and development teams to understand technical needs and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
  • Knowledge Management: Create and maintain high-quality documentation and knowledge resources for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Functional Testing: Conduct rigorous manual testing of business applications to ensure features meet defined acceptance criteria, to prevent Service defects.
  • UAT Coordination: Act as a primary point of contact to coordinate testing efforts across business units, ensuring stakeholder sign-off.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution, providing clear status updates to the broader team.
  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements for testing workflows to enhance team productivity
    Cross-Functional Support: Provide expert support to end-users and conduct training sessions to ensure effective use of validated tools.

The must have skills that matter:

  • 4+ years of experience in a QA or Business Systems Analyst role, with a strong background in manual testing and coordination.
  • SaaS Ecosystem: Hands-on experience testing and supporting enterprise applications such as Salesforce and NetSuite is a must.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Familiarity with processes surrounding Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Support/Services.
  • Testing Methodologies: Deep knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Jira & Confluence: Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and Confluence for test documentation and space management.
  • Workflow Design: Understanding of complex workflows, permission schemes, and notifications within business applications.
  • Test Automation: Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Copado or specialized SaaS testing tools.
  • Data Literacy: Ability to construct custom reports and dashboards to track testing progress and application health.
