We’re looking for a mid-level Laravel engineer to help build and maintain a variety of web applications. Working within our Engineering team, you’ll collaborate closely with other engineers and clients. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience with Laravel and genuinely enjoys exploring and improving technology. You’ll be responsible for developing features in PHP, creating high-quality pull requests, and helping the team follow strong industry best practices.
Our workplace is relaxed, with flexible working hours and a welcoming, friendly team. You’ll learn a lot and gain exposure to many new technologies. While Laravel is central to this role, we also work with a broad range of tools, including databases, external services, APIs, and more.

Location
The company has always operated as a fully remote team. You should therefore be comfortable working remotely, able to manage your own time, and have excellent communication skills—including using video calls and communicating frequently in writing. We’d prefer candidates who are within three hours of GMT.
A great candidate will have:
- At least three years of experience with Laravel
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL / Postgres)
- Experience with API-driven development
- Ability to write tests
- Experience with Git and GitHub
Experience with the following would be a bonus:
- Some JavaScript experience (Vue / React / Livewire)
- Server administration experience (Ubuntu, nginx, Forge, Envoyer, Docker)
- AWS, Google Cloud, or Digital Ocean
- Elasticsearch, Redis, Memcache
- Unit / integration / acceptance testing
