MetricStory is revolutionizing web analytics. Currently, it is painful to setup web analytics, create reports, and finally get insights out of the reports. Our goal is to make it easy for companies to capture and analyze customer data without having to code. To do this, we are storing and analyzing the full user clickstream. We are a recent Techstars funded company and we have expert domain knowledge in analytics. You’ll be our first engineer and have real ownership, responsibility, and impact on the business. The perfect candidate is a senior / lead level engineer with a few years experience in building product and loves architecting complex systems. This position requires solving hard problems and is focused on writing scalable code to capture and analyze big data.

We are looking for an engineer that has experience and is passionate with storing large volumes of data and retrieving this data in seconds. The ideal candidate will have experience in storing large amounts of event data in a NoSQL database like DynamoDB and exporting/cleaning with Amazon EMR (HiveQL) to RedShift for fast access.
