The Engagement Manager should have a detailed understanding of all aspects of the system development life cycle from project initiation through implementation with an Agile-minded approach to managing software projects. In addition to being an Engagement Manager, you’ll also be a Product Owner and Agile PM depending on the nature of the engagement.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and technical staff to define project scope, goals and deliverables
Understand and articulate client business and technical objectives including assisting in drafting proposals for new clients
Facilitate daily standups with both clients and technical teams
Develop project road maps and associated communication documents such as progress reports and requirements documentation
Set and manage expectations with clients and team members
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise mitigation plans
Manage internal financial project performance
