Ro is the only company that offers nationwide telehealth, lab, and pharmacy services. This is made possible by Ro’s vertically integrated platform, which supports patients through an end-to-end experience—from diagnosis and medication delivery to ongoing care. Since 2017, Ro has helped millions of patients across nearly every county in the United States, including 99% of primary care deserts.
Ro is consistently recognized as a top workplace in Health Care, in New York, and for Women and Parents, with more than 20 honors from Fortune, Great Place to Work, and PEOPLE since 2021. In 2025 alone, we ranked in the top 5 among medium-sized workplaces in Health Care and New York, and in the top 50 nationwide.

– Support Ro’s workforce strategy, including worker classification, remote work arrangements, and cross-border employment questions.
– Monitor and anticipate changes in relevant employment laws, and keep Ro informed through practical updates and guidance.
– Partner with Privacy and Security teams on employee data-related matters.
– Work with the People team to maintain scalable policies, handbooks, templates, and training programs.
– Collaborate with the People team and outside counsel on benefits and equity issues in support of Ro’s overall compensation model.
– Step in on non-employment disputes or commercial agreements when needed.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
– J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
– 8+ years of employment law experience, including experience in both law firm and in-house settings (or a related role).
– Comfort handling a wide variety of matters in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Excellent judgment and ability to work cross-functionally.
– Experience advising on the use of AI in employment settings.
– Flexibility to support adjacent work involving commercial contracts and disputes as needed.
– Experience advising a physician practice, hospital, or other healthcare provider is strongly preferred.
– Experience advising on employee data privacy is preferred.
