Here’s a brief overview of what the first problem’s we’re looking to solve:
The backstory is our sensor platform – ultrasmall, long batterylife, long range – can be used anywhere for anything. We see opportunities in the following areas:
Communication Protocols – Working with a highly optimised radio protocol for miniaturised sensor nodes, to achieve unprecedented range, robustness and battery lifetime. Implementing innovative security models to assure data confidentiality and integrity throughout the system
Ultra Low Power Sensor Algorithms – Working with sensors running in the nA range, processing real world data into actionable insights for the application developer. Good understanding of physical sensor behaviour and signal processing is beneficial
Advanced Power Management – Ultra Low Power Design as DNA, squeezing out those extra years of battery lifetime, saving energy wherever possible. Thorough understanding of trade-offs between latency, start-up energy, sleep cycles, oscillator and power modes
We’re looking for someone who has creativity and drive, that enjoy challenging opportunities and an ambition to make a difference.
Deadline: Friday 24th of February
