Diamond Foundry Inc. is tackling the thermal challenges at the heart of today’s most advanced industries—cloud computing and AI, power electronics for electric vehicles, and 5G/6G wireless networks. We have created the world’s first monocrystalline diamond wafers and are committed to putting diamond technology behind every chip. As a profitable, fast-growing unicorn, we have raised $515 million and are expanding by several billions to produce one of the most sustainable forms of technology manufacturing: converting greenhouse gases into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

We are seeking an Electrical Facilities Engineer to lead the electrical infrastructure and critical utilities for our monocrystalline diamond ingot factory (SCD). In this key role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our power systems—from 132 kV substations and BESS/PV integration to low-voltage networks that support ultra-pure gas systems and process cooling. You will serve as a technical specialist, connecting facilities, process engineering teams, and external contractors to keep power uninterrupted for diamond production. By managing complex electrical installations and improving system performance, you will safeguard our advanced manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with semiconductor industry standards.

Responsibilities
• Plan, manage, and execute electrical facilities projects, including factory expansions, equipment installation, and upgrades to critical utilities. Oversee high- and low-voltage infrastructure to ensure maximum factory performance.
• Manage contractors and suppliers through bidding, negotiations, scope definition, performance monitoring, and ensuring timely, budget-aligned, high-quality delivery. Ensure compliance with factory safety standards, EU directives, and environmental regulations.
• Work with equipment installation teams to support machine setup and ensure facilities are ready.
• Use AutoCAD or similar tools to create facilities layouts, piping diagrams, and electrical schematics for modifications.
• Use ETAP to model and simulate electrical power systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency—including load flow, short-circuit studies, protection coordination, arc-flash studies, and technical reporting.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related field, with 3–5 years of experience in electrical project engineering in high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of high- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
• Experience with construction, facilities expansion, and system modifications.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and suppliers, including negotiation, scheduling, compliance, and performance oversight.
• Solid knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.

Salary range: €35,000 – €50,000 per year
Final compensation may vary based on responsibilities, experience, and specialization.
