eCommerce Tech Lead

Key Job Activities:

  • Act as a liaison between the external web development team (Magento Enterprise) and the internal marketing/operations teams

  • Prioritize feature and integration development, estimate time and budgets, and manage the release lifecycle

  • Manage integration points between e-commerce platform, ERP platform, payment solutions, https://www.salesforce.com/de/?ir=1, and other required integrations

  • Manage security compliance for all payment and PCI processes and information related to e-commerce platform

  • Recommend appropriate platform tools and components to support the scalability, reliability, and performance of the corporate e-commerce capabilities

  • Design, configure and manage development testing/staging environments that mirror production

  • Full lifecycle e-commerce software and integration testing using automated software testing suites as appropriate

  • Other related duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with corporate marketing team to prioritize requests for eCommerce feature enhancements and changes.

  • Manage external website integrations including, but not limited to: https://www.salesforce.com/de/?ir=1, USPS, Fedex, UPS, ERP, and Braintree. Coordinate external support resources for the same.

  • Ensure all products and data are correctly represented in the eCommerce platform.

  • Act as the escalation point during incidents and facilitate issue resolution. Communicate issue status to all stakeholders.

  • Develop testing procedures for software enhancements. Test enhancements and site integrations; automate testing where possible. Deploy approved enhancements from staging to production.

  • Troubleshoot and replicate reported eCommerce defects.

  • Participate in the design and development of new B2B e-commerce initiatives within Chaney Instrument Co. and Primex Wireless.

****Occasional travel to our Lake Geneva, WI corporate HQ may be required. – Please note this position is Remote within the United States, because of occasional travel to HQ
