We’re seeking an seeking ambitious and talented East Coast Sales Director with direct-sales experience, an enthusiasm for customer interaction and drive who can increase deal flow and help ensure our success in the marketplace. Our deals complex but the wins are big.
Your strategic and sales responsibilities will include 1) Researching prospective customers and partners; 2) Developing and executing deal-specific sales strategies, proposals and presentations; 3) Initiating and sustaining direct contact with prospective customers; 4) Identifying and addressing customer concerns and gaining customer commitments; and 5) Prioritizing and tracking sales opportunities.
What You Need to Have
- A proven track record of sales success, B2G or complex B2B a huge plus;
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher);
- A high energy level and genuine enthusiasm for customer interactions and day-to-day sales activities;
- Charisma, public speaking and presentation skills;
- A demonstrated ability to think strategically and work productively with limited supervision;
- An enthusiasm for new technologies, innovative analytics and/or connected mobility;
- A desire to travel, East Coast location a plus;
- An enthusiasm for new technologies, innovative analytics and/or connected mobility;
- A desire to improve global transportation and energy systems and address sustainability challenges;
- Experience and/or a desire to work with startups.

You will report directly to Vision Fleet’s VPs of Business Development and Sales and work closely with the entire team, including the company’s CEO, CFO and COO.
Salary and compensation
$70,000 — $100,000/year
