THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements
DTN is looking for a Senior Software Developer to enhance and maintain an existing Windows application that provides real-time information used by financial traders around the world using a variety of technologies.
Essential Functions:
Use Visual C++, Visual Studio, ATL, STL, XML, Templates, Web Services.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Analyze and convert general requirements into solutions that best suit the needs of a wide range of users.
Partner with the Quality Assurance team. Develop new functionality with a strong emphasis on performance, user experience, maintainability, and reusability.
Enhance the products charting and analytical capabilities.
Provide application maintenance and support as required.
Requirements:
Strong Windows (Win32) development experience using C++ and templates.
Good comfort level with Git.
Strong COM experience
3+ years of UI experience
Visual Studio, C++, ATL, STL, XML, Web Services.
Solid Windows graphics.
Strong math skills.
Nice to Have:
TypeScript / React / Node.
Working with embedded Edge, which is based on Chromium (Chrome).
Modern C++.
Some C#.
Knowledge of financial markets.
Experience refactoring.
