The role connects IT and business teams to uncover, prioritize, and execute automation and AI initiatives through strong project and portfolio management. It focuses on enhancing business processes with technology while overseeing project intake, resource planning, and alignment with company strategy.
You will:
• Work closely with business partners to identify process gaps and automation opportunities
• Conduct interviews and gather requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business objectives into clear technical requirements and project scopes
• Build strong cross-functional relationships
• Manage the intake, prioritization, and delivery of IT projects using Jira
• Maintain portfolio roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals
• Lead multiple projects from kickoff through completion
• Allocate resources across the project portfolio
• Monitor dependencies, risks, and interactions between projects
• Track schedules, budgets, and success metrics
• Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Create dashboards and ROI reports for automation initiatives
• Report on portfolio performance and delivery metrics
• Support AI adoption and organizational change management
• Develop training materials and lead user training
• Monitor user adoption and collect feedback for improvement
• Share regular updates with leadership and stakeholders
• Manage vendor partnerships and external resources
• Define and maintain project management standards and best practices
• Ensure compliance with IT governance and security policies
You have:
• Five years of experience in IT project management, business systems, or technology consulting
• Deep expertise in Jira, including workflow customization, dashboards, and reporting
• A proven history of delivering complex technical projects on time and on budget
• Experience managing project portfolios, including intake and resource planning
• Knowledge of SaaS platforms, workflow automation, and system integrations
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and automation tools
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methods
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or Agile/Scrum
• Jira administration or Advanced Roadmaps certification
• Experience with change management approaches
• Background in Lean or Six Sigma process improvement
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks
• Experience delivering AI or automation projects
• Experience using Confluence for documentation

• Knowledge of generative AI, prompt engineering, and practical use of these tools
• Advanced Jira skills in tracking, planning, and reporting
• Understanding of APIs and middleware tools like Make or Zapier
• Basic knowledge of data flows, systems architecture, and security

Compensation:
Minted uses a market-based model with four geographic tiers. Offers typically fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range to allow for future salary growth, with the higher portion of the range reserved for long-term progression.
Compensation by location:
Geo 2 (Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Seattle, Austin, Atlanta, Portland): $109,581–$143,825
Geo 3 (all other U.S. metro areas): $100,557–$131,981
Salaries vary based on experience, responsibilities, and business needs. This role also offers an annual performance bonus and stock options.
