About the Role
The Senior Director, Professional Services leads strategic delivery across multiple projects and accounts within your practice area. You will develop and maintain client relationships, drive business development, and oversee the growth and capability development of the practice. You will ensure high-quality delivery and customer outcomes, operational excellence, and the professional growth of your team members.
You will be a member of the Global Professional Services leadership team, the regional sales leadership team working directly with the North American Sales Leader and involved in other cross-functional initiatives.
This role operates on a hybrid model, with a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration at our Denver, CO location, specifically, working in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Mentor, coach, and develop consultants, managers, and future leaders within the practice.
Develop and implement strategies to grow the practice, including thought leadership, service offering and package innovation, and market positioning.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, cultivating long-term strategic partnerships.
Lead business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and participating in sales campaigns.
Oversee project financials, resourcing, and performance metrics including utilization, revenue and TTV goals.
Contribute to Sugar’s overall strategy and cross-practice collaboration efforts.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
10+ years of consulting or professional services experience, with at least 4 years in a senior management role, in a SaaS environment.
Proven track record managing client portfolios exceeding 100 to 150 active engagements.
Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining senior client relationships.
Strong analytical skills and track record managing to a P&L or defined KPIs.
Experience driving revenue growth and contributing to firm-level business development strategies.
Strong leadership, people development, and team-building skills.
Deep subject-matter expertise in the manufacturing industry.
Technical experience as a developer, solution architect or systems implementor.
Advanced skills in organizational change management and stakeholder engagement.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive firm-wide collaboration.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
