As the Director of User Experience, you will be the strategic mind responsible for elevating the calibre of usability and visual design across all things Venzee. Responsibilities: Demonstrate ownership over all UX/UI design and development work for mobile, desktop and web applications. Produce UX deliverables including: user scenarios, screen flows, wireframes, mock-ups, rapid prototypes and final production assets. Work closely with internal stakeholders including Product and Development to understand business/ functional requirements and technical considerations Understand and derive insights about Venzee’s customers, including technical sophistication, personas, competitive analysis and other user research. Create and evolve a Digital Design Bible, outlining Venzee’s visual and interaction design standards and guidelines for mobile, desktop and web applications. Visualize concepts quickly and cleanly through sketching and other rapid prototyping methods – yes, white boards and large glass windows included. Conduct usability testing throughout the design process. Present and review designs for approval with key stakeholders including Product, Development, Marketing and Sales. Create and maintain a UX/design roadmap. Build a great design team to work alongside you!
Requirements: 10-15 years experience in a software development environment, leading and participating in the UX/UI design and information architecture. Proven experience leading a highly talented, focused designers and developers. Highly effective working in cross-functional teams where your skills and ability to influence become your most valuable assets. Appreciation for the agile process and the need for stellar production assets that speak loud and clear to the Development team. A portfolio of work that demonstrates your capabilities across a range of brands and channels. Excellent communication skills. You bring your A game each and everyday ;A self starter, “hand me the keys” approach.
