Job Description
ThreatConnect, Inc. is looking for a passionate UI/UX leader who is skilled at driving the creative process and design teams from concept through execution. This role directs and oversees the implementation of policies and procedures for the User Interface and User Experience Team. Must demonstrate the ability to work closely with Project Management, Quality Assurance, Customer Success and Engineering Teams to develop and execute overall platform UI/UX strategies. Must have the ability to clearly define and implement steps required to improve the development process. Must be capable of resolving escalated issues arising from business operations and requiring coordination with other departments. .
Required Qualifications:
10+ years experience developing UX ideally on large scale enterprise level web based applications
Work closely with project managers, subject matter experts and software engineers to be an integral part of solving complex system level challenges
Collaborate across teams to understand how our customers use our software
Lead and manage a team of global software engineers to successfully deliver high quality products
Excellent people management skills to collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes
In-depth understanding of UI/UX methodologies and best practices
Comprehensive UI leading design practices for Responsive Web Design, reusable UI patterns, and intuitive navigation
Ability to work effectively as part of both small teams and larger formal groups
Ability to prioritize and adapt rapidly to changing business conditions
Ability to assess risk and use industry best practices for releasing quality software to customers
Working knowledge of J2EE and API driven technology stack
Working knowledge of Frontend Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, or VueJs
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum
