As Director of Sales Engineering at Rocana, you will be the champion for customers and what they need to succeed at every step. You should be someone who’s deeply technical, but also have great people skills as you will direct the engagement of Rocana with many of our customers. You will be the leader of our Sales Engineering team responsible for the entire pre-sales process through hand-off to the Customer Success team.
Develop solution and customer proposals, deliver product and solution demonstrations
Refine the core sales engineering processes including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept (POC)
Conduct POCs and technical projects
Work with sales management and clients to design, create and present business solutions to improve client revenue growth
Coordinate with sales in the development of account plans for larger clients
Provide advice and support to requests for proposals (RFPs). Present recommendations and associated benefits to clients.
Provide product and solutions education to sales and other areas of the company as needed
Promote products and business solutions at conferences, forums, and seminars
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are implemented and supported in line with client expectations
Gather requirements for delivery team to ensure solution design and level of effort estimates
Provide input on product development or enhancements to existing products to product marketing
Participate in regional industry events/organizations as a thought leader
