We need a seasoned HR leader that help us as we ramp up on hiring. We need someone with experience building processes that facilitate hiring, and forming HR policies for different businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Own the recruitment pipeline for all new hires for Remote Year. Create a streamlined process to go from:
a. Team need → Candidate pipeline → Candidate screening → Candidate interview scheduling → Candidate offer → Candidate onboarding
- Create and implement HR policies relevant to Remote Year’s unique business model
i.e. employees constantly traveling, global hiring, employment visas, etc.
- Create general HR guidelines for Remote Year that help us make important and sensitive decisions
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in HR (startup experience is ideal, but not required)

Passion for the cause – we need to get every potential employee excited about the unique way that we are changing the world, and you are the front
Passion for travel – role will require physical presence on Remote Year programs
Ownership – we don’t like micromanaging. We expect dedication and ownership
Organization skills – great time management skills, ability to multitask
Interpersonal skills while the role is more strategic in nature, each member of our team touches Remotes (customers) in one way or another
