Thuzio is looking for a Director, Engineering to run all things technology and product-development at Thuzio. This is a fast paced environment and you will be expected both code and manage the other members of the team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building scalable web properties and leading a team. Most of all, you should have a high level of intelligence, strong work ethic and be excited about building an amazing company!

More about your role and responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of technology and product-development at Thuzio

• Mentor a team of junior engineers, product managers, and designers

• Play the role of player-coach: be the top engineer and manage the rest of the team

• Run formal and informal code reviews

• Collaborate on designing and building new features and products

• Create standards, reusable libraries, and tools for use by the rest of the team

• Keep current on new technology and consider potential applications at Thuzio
