Guerrero Howe’s mission is to recognize, promote, and develop great executives. So far, we’ve done that by producing seven of the best business-to-business magazines in their industries and by launching an exclusive networking organization for senior executives. Now, we’re hoping to evolve our company in the digital sphere.

We’re looking for a director of digital strategy to help lead this initiative. This individual will be responsible for setting the digital agenda for our company and earning company-wide commitment around the strategy, then executing for results. To do so, the ideal candidate will have a history of proven leadership in the digital space and an ability to work collaboratively with creative, sales, and marketing teams. This individual will have a passion for educating their peers on best digital practices and be excited about spearheading our company’s digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute digital strategy to achieve business goals

• Lead, manage, and hold digital team accountable to results

• Effectively define scope, approach, and manage digital projects across departments and external partners

• Develop and implement processes for approaching digital projects within the company

• Serve as a resource for Leadership team in the development of insight-driven digital strategies from opportunity identification to execution

• Work closely with all departments (including Creative, Marketing, Sales and Finance) in a collaborative manner to support their digital needs

• Manage website security, web hosting management, and related needs for company’s digital footprint

First 90 Days:

• Develop 2016 digital plan and a 30-second explanation of the company’s digital strategy for the coming year

• Read Traction, our blueprint for how we operate our business

• Oversee cross-department team to complete theme updates for existing magazine websites

• Implement advanced and comprehensive forms for all sites and ensure security is intact

• Define project scope and begin work on new Alumni Society website

• Get up to speed on web hosting environment and all current webmaster responsibilities
