Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Role Purpose: Overall responsibility for the Organisation’s people and training strategy. They will contribute to overall Organisation’s strategy and policy making by advising the Executive Committee on the personnel and/or human resource implications of its decisions.
Key Responsibilities: • Overall control of the people / human resource function • Formulating personnel systems and strategies appropriate to the company’s corporate mission and goals • Responsibility for recruiting and supporting staff, including monitoring their performance and guiding their direction • Developing remuneration and reward procedures • Keeping the Executive Committee informed on personnel and employee-relations policies, as needed, to preserve and facilitate company strategy • Planning and directing employee training and development programmes • Improving management / employee communications, including mediating in disputes and advising line managers on how to implement personnel policies • Ensuring compliance with employment law • Ensuring that health and safety procedures are adequate • Future management and leadership of the HR Team
