Position: The Director of Business Development will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the CEO. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative leader and will help build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

Business Development Manager Job Responsibilities: • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments. • Identifies and closes newer distribution channels and/or partnerships for existing products to increase sales. • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies. • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements. • Travel to support trade shows, customer demonstrations and other business development activities in a cost effective manner • Establish and track sales and revenue metrics coming through partnerships/channels to understand the effectiveness and ROI behind each partnership

Salary and compensation
