Required Qualifications
5+ years technical software experience
Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficiency with server-side languages such as PHP
Proficiency with database technology such as SQL Server and MySQL
Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and computer science fundamentals
Strong security background (comfortable working with PII/sensitive data)
Experience with agile and fast-paced software development methodologies
Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working and communicating directly with clients
Laravel and Nodejs experience helpful
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries (e.g., Sass, Less, and webpack)
An eye for design and user experience
Technical literacy and hands-on experience across the software stack, infrastructure, and dev-ops
Knowledge of Enterprise HR systems (WorkDay, SuccessFactors, Oracle, SAP)
Proficiency with Git
Appreciation for clean and well documented code
What you’ll be working on
Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be working on the design, architecture, development, and innovation of customized HR software for some of the world’s most sophisticated companies. You will use PHP, SQL, JavaScript, and CSS to deploy software quickly to meet their needs. Our work is fast-paced, creative, and flexible–your days will be too! You will spend time problem solving with clients live, helping them see the range of what’s possible, building what they need, and working directly with HR experts. You will work alongside client team-members and thrive on the responsibility to own large projects from conceptualization to sunset.
Responsibilities
Build the software development process from conception to deployment

Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications

Modifying and testing changes to previously developed applications
Deliver high quality code in a fast and efficient manner

Must be fluent in all things PHP, MySQL, and Javascript
Develop front-end and back-end software using PHP/MySQL and HTML/Javascript/CSS with Vue.js or Reactjs

Identify and mitigate end-to-end security concerns
Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability

Mentoring other engineers
Work across the organization to foster a culture of architecture that allows for iterative, autonomous development and future scaling.
