A DICOM Software Developer is expected to develop, maintain and continually improve the OnBase healthcare product suite, specifically our VNA or long term archive. This person should be a resource and provide guidance from a technical perspective to other developers and departments within the company.

A DICOM Software Developer is expected to develop, maintain and continually improve the OnBase healthcare product suite, specifically our VNA or long term archive. This person should be a resource and provide guidance from a technical perspective to other developers and departments within the company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Be proactive in finding ways to improve the code, architecture, and development processes

• Assure quality of the solutions being developed within the team

• Troubleshoot and debug support issues and code blues autonomously

• Maintain technical mastery of the products being developed

• Maintain a strong overall knowledge of the OnBase suite

• Mentor other developers, be accessible, and proactively assist other developers

• Work in cooperation with product leads to develop product direction from a technical perspective

• Participate in initial implementations of new product.

• Develop and promote coding standards

• Advocate and promote technical training through the use of the Education Coordinator to create best practices training for both development and other teams outside the department
