The System Administrator position is to support and maintain the DocbookMD product suite. Implement and architect updates and enhancements for the DocbookMD product suite. .

Subject Matter Expert to create, install, and maintain DocbookMD software on mission critical systems. Monitor application and system health, performance, and capacity. Train less skilled peers as backup administrators. Participate in architecture and planning for future projects. Collaborate and liaise with other teams and serve as a technical resource.

Analyze, design, prototype, test, develop/enhance applications, production support, including requirements gathering, estimating and documentation.

Analyze and assess existing business systems and collaborate with developers, vendors, and designers to conceptualize and develop new software programs and applications.

Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with internal users and departments.

Translate business requirements into cost-effective solutions, providing feedback to the requirements gathering process, designing and developing solutions with minimal supervision.

Interact with customers/users to support software acceptance process and act as a liaison between development and user community.

Coordinate with vendors for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of any adaptation issues.
