Make neural search scalable and accessible for enterprises all around the world.

You will improve our open-source framework Haystack to simplify deployments in containerized infrastructures like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
You will join us in building & shaping “Haystack Hub” a cloud-based SaaS product to facilitate neural search for our enterprise clients.
You will help our enterprise clients to deploy Haystack Hub in their data centers or private cloud.

Exemplary tasks: Enable efficient scaling of a GPU-heavy inference service; Deploy Haystack Hub in a client’s Kubernetes cluster; Improve reliability of Haystack Hub

Your Responsibilities

• Simplify deployments in our clients’ container environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Work together with our client’s architects on a smooth fit of Haystack into their tech stack
• Design, build and operate the SaaS architecture for Haystack Hub
• Improve the scalability & reliability of neural search via contributions to our open-source framework Haystack

Requirements

• 3+ years experience of having worked in a related field
• Excellent in designing & building service-oriented architectures
• Expert in containerization and orchestration
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Git, AWS, Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Experience with Machine Learning/NLP or the motivation to learn about it
• University degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Pragmatism, sense of responsibility, and independent work style
