We are looking for Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, with an infrastructure and operations background. You will play a critical role in developing cloud infrastructure automation capabilities for deploying and managing our SaaS product.
We are looking for someone who can take better control of our existing systems and infrastructure while helping to make decisions about new infrastructure and technologies to make it better.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and support cloud infrastructure design using implementation using container technology (Docker).
Implement monitoring tools to find problems and resolved
Design and deploy new application enhancements to existing infrastructure.
Create and maintain documentation related to systems, applications system.
Provide general assistance for Technical Support
Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems.
Develop automation and processes to enable teams to deploy, manage, configure, scale and monitor their applications in the cloud.
Required Skills:
BS/MS University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Strong communications skills
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Proficient at writing code and do so to automate infrastructure, improve system reliability and optimize continuous delivery pipelines
Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working closely within small teams
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Extensive knowledge of Linux based systems including hardware, software, networking
Strong software/system troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
Solid experience working with Node, PHP, MySQL.
Preferred Qualifications *
1-5+ years of experience
Experience with container technology like Docker
Experience with Amazon services
Experience working with cloud software like OpenStack
Familiarity with NoSQL data stores like CouchDB, and Elasticsearch.
