Are you the missing link between our IT Operations and Trading departments? Do you get excited about designing, developing and implementing improvements to our monitoring systems? If that sounds like you, then you might be our new DevOps Engineer.

What you will do As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining software to monitor our complex trading architecture. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your actions have a direct impact on our P&L and thus on the success of Optiver. You will be working with highly skilled and engaged colleagues in an informal and dynamic setting. On top of that you will be in direct contact with our traders and technical stakeholders.

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

• Create, develop and maintain software to monitor our complex trading architecture;
• Join in projects to design and implement new parts of the monitoring system;
• Deploy and support our monitoring systems and dashboards;
• Automate the process of getting data from different sources to compare with baselines and automatically act on breaches;
• Help users (traders and trading application engineers) gain insight in the performance of our trading systems;
• Pro-actively think of new ways to measure our performance, by interacting with the users of the system, being trading application engineers and traders;
• Constantly be on top of your game to increase the team- and system performance;
• Be challenged to handle our complex and large data sets.
