Like everyone here, you’re highly collaborative. You’re a system engineer who loves to help solve problems, build elegant and functional systems, and make code sing. Your eye for detail allows you to locate and eliminate problematic functionality, security concerns, and stability issues in various systems and environments.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Support deployments and deploy updates

• Work with our Director of Technology to architect current and future systems

• Act as “first responder” for server issues

• Consolidate local app setups with our team of 9 developers using Docker or Vagrant

• Monitor, configure, troubleshoot server performance

• Provide app systems support and set system level requirements

• Help establish, refine, document processes and policies; ensure our accepted practices are followed

• Optional: work on features of or build out one of our Rails apps
