We are looking for a DevOps and Python developer to join our engineering team. The backend developers are responsible for developing our Django and Flask based APIs and the microservices that together make up our cloud based platform. The backend team is also responsible for the infrastructure code (Terraform) and deployment pipeline (CircleCI + Docker + AWS). The entire engineering team shares responsibility for monitoring, debugging and on-call rotation.
We believe developers should take ownership of their code from planning to release, making sure it stays performant and reliable. We release code by pushing to Github from where our CD pipeline takes over. We also encourage open source involvement and take time to contribute changes back upstream when we make improvements to our dependencies.
It’s an exciting time to join the company as we’re just about to release the next generation of Load Impact, built on top of our new open source load generator, called k6, which is written in Go and scriptable in ES6 JS.
We are a small team and value team players with good communication skills. We have an agile way of working where collaboration, feedback and trust are important aspects. We try to minimize meetings and work asynchronously using Trello, Github, CircleCI and Slack. We have a policy of working from the office two days a week, and the other three you’re free to work from home or wherever you feel most productive.
This position is for our office located in Stockholm, Sweden.
At Load Impact English is the default language, we are made up of people from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the US.
