What We’re Looking for:

Startup taking flight seeks Experienced Django Developer (with bonus points for some front-end skills) to handle day to day development for a fast-growing web-based application for artists, educators and creators. Fluent English is a must. We’re open to a higher hourly rate for someone with a high degree of experience.

This is an exceptionally cool project that will make an epic portfolio piece, with lots of potential for additional employment. Here is the previous website, we will be replacing: www.radhowtoclass.com with a brand new design from a world class design firm (already engaged). We are looking for freelancers with whom we can develop a long term relationship.

Background:

This is a project for one of the most sought-after artists and educators in the animation industry. What we’ve released so far has gone remarkably well. Now we’re looking to step things up, with a mix of additional functionality, UX improvements and innovative new features – starting with helping to implement this new redesign.

To complete all the deliverables, the right developer will have experience in the following:

– Django backend – including continued development of scale-able systems for social interaction and teacher/artist monetization
