At Magicul we are building tools that empower UI UX designers to create products faster and more efficiently. We are the only tool that allows you to convert UI UX design files between Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, PDF and Adobe Illustrator. We are looking for an experienced full stack JS developer (3yrs+) to join our growing team. We are currently a team of 8, meaning you’ll be able to contribute a lot and make a big difference in building new products 🚀

Must-Have Skills 📖

– Strong experience with modern JS (ES6+) and TS
– Strong experience with React
– Strong experience with NodeJS (Express, Nest, Fastify or similar)
– Experience with one state management framework
– Experience with SQL
– Experience writing tests (preferably also with TDD)
– Experience with at least one other programming language other than JS
– Linux experience (what’s your favorite distro? 🤔 do you love bash scripting? 🤓)
– Good English
– Curious to learn new things and implement them

Nice-to-have Skills 🙌

– Experience with NextJS
– Experience with Functional programming
– Experience with XState
– Experience working with 2D vector elements and/or SVG
– Computer Science, Engineering Degree or similar (solid math background)
– Open source contributions

Our current tech stack 🤓

– NextJS frontend with TypeScript, FelaJS and XState
– Backend in Fastify with Postgres
– All file converters are written as separate NPM modules in node
