Orkes’ Developer Relations team drives awareness and consideration of our open source developer products, and the adoption of those products. We engage with an extensive, thriving developer community in which we inspire, educate and support developers around the world. We proactively engage across our developer ecosystem through events, outreach and delivering the content that drives understanding on our products. We partner with product engineering teams to drive developer feedback and insights into real developer experience improvements. The Developer Relations team at Orkes consists of 4 functional groups today: Developer Advocacy, Developer Community Management, Platform Partner Engineering and Orkes Developer Studios, our video production team. These teams work across other teams within the company and engage directly with our developer community.

What we are looking for

You are a software developer with deep subject matter knowledge in cloud computing, microservices architecture
You are a solid communicator with experience writing [blogs, books], teaching [online courseware, online videos, conferences, classrooms], or speaking [conferences, meetups] about complex technical topics.
You have empathy and understanding of developer personas and are able to apply that towards the design and development of good experiences in tutorials, notebooks, communities and more.
You have launched a developer product and grown a thriving community. Alternatively, you have solid intuition, passion and empathy for technical communities which leads us to believe that you’ll excel in doing this at Orkes!
