About the Role

We are seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to take leadership in our connection to the developer community, grow our presence and impact, and provide a voice inside the company representing the community and their feedback.

As part of this role, you will work closely with teams across our company, and will work to provide the absolute best experience for developers using the Axiom platform.

What You Will do:

Meeting, educating, and inspiring developers all over the world

Building great apps and demos for developers

Writing tutorials on monitoring topics for our blog and docs

Write clear, step-by-step guides for specific Axiom use cases

Collaborate with other education engineers, sales engineers, product management, engineering, and solution architects to understand customer use cases and document solutions

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience building and growing technical communities

Understanding of the dev-ops space

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

The ability to work cooperatively with, and gain the respect of, software developers

Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive

Willing to travel to conferences, meetups, and other events

Experience writing code, contributing to, and understanding the community mechanisms of open source projects

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, metrics, alerting, devops, scripting

Curiosity in learning how to efficiently communicate documentation, tutorials, and write-ups to other developers

Experience with writing technical documentation for a product or project

Salary and compensation: $70,000 — $120,000/year
