Your Job:
As a Xamarin Developer Evangelist you’ll be responsible for spreading the word about Xamarin to developers around the world, online and in person. Xamarin is growing FAST and needs social coders to help us reach and enable even more developers to build successful iOS and Android mobile apps with C#.
A successful Developer Evangelist has equally strong technical chops and people skills. You love to code, but you love to talk to people about code just as much. The ideal candidate is a software developer interested to share their knowledge and passion with other developers.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver technical presentations to developer audience
Generate technical content for a variety of channels (website, blog, social media, events) such as How to / tips and tricks, samples, product deep dives, demos, screencasts, interesting stories)
Be on the constant lookout for opportunities to increase Xamarin’s visibility and leadership in the mobile development space – commentary on major industry shifts, demos with emerging technologies, interesting stunts that show the power of the platform and the creativity of the Xamarin team
Represent Xamarin at industry events

What We’re Looking For:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrable artifacts of your coding acumen
A strong interest or previous experience building mobile apps on iOS or Android and proficiency with C# and . NET (or a willingness and ability to learn quickly)
Previous experience speaking on technical topics in front of groups of people.
Previous experience as a software engineer, engineering lead or support engineer
